What began as a museum visit became our troop&#8217;s most meaningful project.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vivian and Cindy spearheaded the effort, and together with fellow scouts have volunteered at the annual Nanticoke Pow Wow, participated in cultural preservation events, and worked to raise awareness about the tribe&#8217;s history and ongoing contributions to our state. Today, despite being one of Delaware&#8217;s oldest communities, they remain without federal recognition.
