Girl Scout Troop 360

Chesapeake Bay Council — Serving Our Community, Building Futures

Who We Are

We are Chesapeake Bay Girl Scout Troop 360 — seven dedicated scouts based in Delaware who believe that young people can make a real difference. Through hands-on community service, cultural engagement, and environmental stewardship, we work to strengthen the communities around us.

Among our most active scouts are Vivian and Cindy Wan, who initiated and lead many of our community projects — including our partnership with the Nanticoke Indian Tribe, the troop’s most ambitious and meaningful initiative to date.

Empowering Native Voices in Delaware

Through our work serving local communities, Troop 360 connected with the Nanticoke Indian Tribe — Delaware’s oldest community, with roots stretching back over 10,000 years. What began as a museum visit became our troop’s most meaningful project.

Vivian and Cindy spearheaded the effort, and together with fellow scouts have volunteered at the annual Nanticoke Pow Wow, participated in cultural preservation events, and worked to raise awareness about the tribe’s history and ongoing contributions to our state. This partnership taught us that real community service starts with listening.

Our Journey

The Nanticoke Indian Tribe has called Delaware home for over 10,000 years — long before European contact in 1608. Today, despite being one of Delaware’s oldest communities, they remain without federal recognition. Our troop’s work bridges the gap between awareness and action, ensuring their story is heard.
